Concealed Weapons Permit Course$50 (College Students $45)

Introduction to Pistol Fundamentals$200

This course is designed for those new to shooting and that are looking to learn basic marksmanship skills and fundamentals. Students will be instructed on proper aiming techniques, stance, grip, and firearms safety this course consists of both classroom and a live fire exercise. . Students attending this course will spend most of their time on the range learning basic firearms techniques and engage targets at 3, 5,7,10, and 15 yards. Students are required to bring at least 100 rounds to complete the course. This is an 8 hour course starting at 9:00am, students will also be provided lunch while in attendance.

Notice to participants: This is a basic course designed to teach fundamentals to beginning students.

Students will also receive the CWP certificate upon completion.

This class begins at 9:00AM and concludes at 5:00PM (includes lunch).

Pistol Concepts Course $275

This is not designed for beginning shooters and will consist of shooting from unsupported positions and shooting on the move.

Equipment Needed:

  • Pistol with appropriate OWB holster
  • 3 Magazines
  • Ear and Eye Protection
  • Minimum 500 Rounds for your pistol

Concealed Handgun Tactics Course$275

The concealed handgun tactics course is designed for those possessing a concealed weapons permit who want to focus on drawing from their holster system. This course will focus on placing the student in various shooting positions and situations. This course will also discuss how to dress around the firearm and the meaning of concealed carry. Students will be required to bring at least 300 rounds of ammunition and have a holster for their firearm.

This class begins at 9:00AM and concludes at 5:00PM (includes lunch).

  • Pistol with appropriate OWB holster
  • 3 Magazines
  • 500 Rounds for your pistol

Recommended Equipment:

  • Water
  • Snack

Notice to participants: Tthis course is designed for the student looking to learn how to draw from concealment. Participants will also be exposed to movement and real life situations.

Low Light/No Light Concepts Course $225

A block of instruction that takes the shooter into the realm of night shooting. In this course, the student will learn and demonstrate flashlight techniques that should be utilized when shooting in the dark. Shooters will also be shown the advantage of firearm-mounted lighting compared to traditional flashlights. Students should expect to fire approximately 200 rounds in this course.

The cost of this class includes dinner.

  • Student’s own under gun/tac light is needed
  • Minimum 500 Rounds for your pistol

Notice to participants: This is not a basic course students attending should have a good working knowledge of firearms safety and manipulation.

Introduction to Carbine Fundamentals Course $200

This is an entry level course designed specifically for those shooters who have not had any formal instruction or experience using rifles or carbines. This combination classroom/live-fire class will focus on building good fundamentals to safely operate the AR15/M4 and help prepare students for our more advanced tactical carbine classes. The cost of the class includes lunch and covers:

  • Nomenclature and mechanics of the AR15 / M4 rifle.
  • Disassembly / reassembly.
  • Fundamentals of shooting a rifle.
  • Basic gun-handling and safety skills.
  • Zeroing sights and sight alignment.
  • Loading / unloading the AR15 / M4 rifle.
  • Malfunction clearance techniques.
  • Engaging targets from varying distances.
  • Preventive maintenance and cleaning.

This class begins at 9:00AM and concludes at 5:00PM (includes lunch).

Equipment Needed:

  • Carbine (Sling Strongly recommended)
  • 3 Magazines (Magazine carrier recommended)
  • Ear and Eye Protection
  • 300 Rounds Minimum

Notice to participants: this course is designed to teach the fundamentals of operating a Carbine platform such as the Ar-15, Ak-47, and other various carbine platforms.

Carbine Concepts Course $275

This is an advanced level course participants should have a working knowledge of firearm safety and manipulation.

Equipment Needed:

  • Carbine with sling
  • At least 3 magazines with mag carrier
  • Ear and Eye Protection
  • 750 Rounds Minimum

Pistol/Rifle Concepts Course$275

This course will consist of transitions between both pistol and rifle platforms and students should a working knowledge and be proficient with both platforms.

Equipment Needed:

  • Rifle and Pistol
  • Rifle sling and Appropriate holster for pistol
  • 3 magazine minimum for each weapon platform
  • Pistol magazine carrier
  • Strongly recommend rifle magazine carrier
  • 500 rounds pistol
  • 500 rounds Rifle

With the exception of certified law enforcement officers, military, or an exemption by Ins. Sutton (or the Shoot and Move staff), all students must take Pistol I to be eligible to enroll in advanced courses.

Replacement Certificates

Lost or Replacement Certificates will be issued at a cost of $25.

Training Restrictions

Shoot and Move will no longer allow any student training to use a BlackHawk Serpa Holster System or any Holster System similar in design utilizing or consisting of a trigger finger retention system.

College Students

College Students that bring in a student ID always receive our CWP classes for $45.00, as well as 10% off any of our other courses.

Terms & Conditions

Shoot and Move requires a 50% deposit due upon registration to confirm your course date. The CWP course is due in full at time of registration. There will be no refunds for a course if it is cancelled within 14 days of the course date. However, the course may be re-scheduled for the next available date. If the course is cancelled within 5 days of the course date, there will be no refunds and it will be up to the instructor if the course should be re-scheduled.
